Product 03
Patented Technology
Rapid Chilling System
Patented 2-stage chilling process that rapidly reduces milk temperature to 4°C. No chilled water or brine water storage system required. Significant power savings over conventional systems.
Common questions about our bulk milk cooling systems, export process and technical specifications.
The Open Type BMC is a vertical cylindrical tank, typically 100 L to 2,500 L, designed for village-level dairy cooperative societies and small farms. It has an open top with an agitator and is easy to clean manually. The Closed Type BMC is a horizontal cylindrical tank from 1,000 L to 15,000 L, designed for large dairy plants and district-level cooperatives. It features a fully enclosed AISI 304 stainless steel vessel, an optional automatic CIP (Clean-In-Place) system, and uses Emerson Scroll compressors for high efficiency in hot climates.
Yes. Associated Dairyfab bulk milk coolers are engineered and tested for tropical and semi-arid conditions where ambient temperatures can reach 42–45°C. We have active installations across East Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia), the UAE and wider GCC, Bangladesh, and South/Southeast Asia. Our compressor selection, condenser sizing and refrigerant systems are specified for high-ambient performance. We have exported to 42+ countries across Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
We supply single units as well as large project quantities. There is no formal minimum order quantity for export enquiries. Typical production and dispatch lead times range from 4 to 8 weeks depending on the product, capacity and customisation requirements. Large project orders (50+ units) are handled on a project basis with dedicated scheduling. Please contact our export team for a project-specific timeline.
Associated Dairyfab is ISO 9001:2015 certified. Our bulk milk coolers are manufactured to ISO 5708 performance standards — the internationally recognised benchmark for bulk milk cooling equipment. All tanks use AISI 304 food-grade stainless steel. Evaporator safety design is crash-tested at 65 bar. We can provide SGS pre-shipment inspection documentation for export orders requiring third-party quality certification.
Our smaller Open Type units (100 L – 2,500 L) can run on single-phase 220V / 50 Hz. Larger Closed Type units (1,000 L and above) typically require three-phase 415V / 50 Hz. Voltage stabilisers are recommended in areas with significant grid fluctuation — our controllers include extra protection against uneven voltage for rural deployments. For off-grid or unreliable grid areas, we can advise on generator sizing requirements.
The Heat Recovery Unit (HRU) captures the waste heat generated by the refrigeration compressor and uses it to pre-heat water for udder washing, CIP cleaning or pasteurisation. This eliminates or dramatically reduces the need for a separate water heater. Depending on installation size and water consumption, dairies typically save 30–70% of their water heating energy costs. The HRU pays back its cost in most installations within 12–18 months of operation.
Yes. We actively recruit authorised dealers and distributors in markets across Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, Eastern Europe and South/Southeast Asia. We are particularly looking for partners in Kenya, UAE, Bangladesh, Russia and across sub-Saharan Africa who have experience in refrigeration, dairy equipment or agricultural machinery. Visit our Become a Dealer page to apply.
All exports include comprehensive technical documentation, installation manuals and operation guides. We provide remote technical support via phone and WhatsApp for international customers. Our service team can arrange on-site commissioning visits for large project orders. We also supply spare parts internationally, and our dealer network in many countries can provide local service support. Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) are available for customers in India.
